Job summary

Chola in Chennai seeks a Product Manager for motor insurance to drive idea generation, design, implementation, launch and monitoring of commercial lines. You will coordinate with stakeholders, work with actuarial and reinsurers, oversee governance approvals, file products with regulators, prepare information decks, test scenarios, go-live plans, and post-implementation reviews.

• Idea Generation, Designing, implementation,launch and monitoring of Commercial lines of business.
• Knowledge on Motor Insurance Products.
• Consult relevant Stakeholders on new product ideation and incorporate guidance into product formulation.
• Overseeing price and feature benchmarking along with Actuarial team and Reinsurance providers.
• Follow defined process to obtain governance approval from PMC and the product filing process with the Regulator.
• Create product information deck including - FAQ sheet, product presentation and proposition to ensure timely circulation to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders through workshops for effective functional requirement gathering for the product.
• Coordinate for the creation and sign off on testing scenarios to provide sign off for system readiness for product.
• Create go live plan and implementation schedule by coordinating with marketing teams for creation of collaterals.
• Oversee Post implementation review to flag off variations and path correction.
