Job summary

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., invites applications for Deputy Manager / Manager - PLC Programmer at the Ahmednagar factory to strengthen its maintenance and automation team.

You will lead maintenance planning and scheduling, drive PM, CBM and TBM, optimize MTTR/MTBF, conduct RCA, manage spare parts and TPM records, and work hands-on with Siemens PLCs, VFDs and servo systems while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or BE in Electrical/ Electronics.
  • 5–10 years of experience in maintenance planning and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming, VFDs and servo systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Planning & Execution.
  • Develop and implement an effective Maintenance Planning and Scheduling System.
  • Ensure efficient execution of PM, Breakdown Maintenance, CBM, and TBM.
  • Monitor MTTR and MTBF; lead RCA and corrective actions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure optimum stock levels.

Diploma / BE (Electrical/ Electronics)

Experience

5 years to 10 years

Key Deliverables / Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)
  • Maintenance Planning & Execution.
  • Develop and implement an effective Maintenance Planning and Scheduling System.
  • Ensure efficient execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Breakdown Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and Time-Based Maintenance (TBM).
  • Monitor, track, and improve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure optimum stock levels.
  • Maintain and update all TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentation and records.
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
  • Hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Servo Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
