Role Purpose
Responsible for managing statutory compliances, tax assessments, internal financial controls, and corporate MIS reporting. The role ensures regulatory compliance, strong financial monitoring, and timely management reporting for effective decision-making.
Functional Area
Responsibilities
Statutory Compliances
Ensure timely completion of Income Tax Return (ITR) filing, GST returns, TDS compliances, GST Audit and Transfer Pricing filings.
Monitor and ensure completion of monthly statutory compliances.
Coordinate and liaise with statutory auditors and tax consultants for GST and Income Tax matters.
Assessments & Litigation
Handle GST and Income Tax Assessments.
Prepare and submit required documents, reconciliations, and responses to tax authorities.
Coordinate with consultants for representation before tax authorities.
MIS & Reporting
Implement and monitor end-to-end financial processes and internal controls.
Manage inventory controls, including stock ageing analysis and review of minimum & maximum order quantities for raw materials.
Prepare and review Corporate MIS reports, including:
Weekly: Cash Flow, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Stock Position.
Monthly: Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Flow Statement, Statutory Compliance Tracker.
Support Closing of books of accounts and Finalisation.
