Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead monthly and annual closings, prepare financial statements and MIS, and ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax. The role requires close collaboration with auditors, lenders, and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls and enable scalable growth.

You will advise on budgeting, planning and regulatory changes, while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines and guiding junior staff in accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• B.Com or M.Com with relevant Finance & Accounts experience considered.
• Experience of 5–8 years in finance & accounts, including close, compliance, audit coordination, and lender reporting.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and Companies Act.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly and annual financial closings including journal entries, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS for management review.

ROLE

• Conduct timely monthly and annual financial closures, including preparation of journal entries, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports for management review.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory returns related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date compliance records and monitor regulatory changes to ensure adherence to applicable laws.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, stock statements, and debtor statements to banks and financial institutions.
• Develop periodic MIS and performance reports for lenders and investors, supporting funding and investment initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors by preparing audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Address audit observations and queries promptly to ensure smooth audit outcomes.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure alignment with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior finance staff on accounting and reporting tasks.
• Support management in budgeting, financial planning, and other strategic finance initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Com/M.Com with relevant Finance & Accounts experience may also be considered.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with exposure to financial closure, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and lender reporting.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP, Zoho, or similar accounting software.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
