Job summary

Adani in India seeks a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead CHP maintenance activities and reliability programs at large power plants. You will manage maintenance teams, contractors, and OEMs to ensure safe, efficient operation of coal handling systems and 300 MW+ units.

Qualified candidates hold BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, 12–18 years of relevant experience, CHP exposure, and SAP PM/CMMS familiarity; preference for M.Tech and MBA (Operations).

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12–18 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
• Minimum 7 years CHP maintenance experience.
• Experience in utility-scale power plants 300 MW+.
• Experience with conveyor systems, crushers, stacker reclaimers.
• Strong contractor management and team leadership.
• Exposure to SAP PM or CMMS.

Experience Requirements (Must Have)

Mandatory Experience

• 12-18 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Coal Handling Plant (CHP) Maintenance.
• Experience in Thermal Power Plants or Large Captive Power Plants.
• Experience in maintenance of coal conveying and material handling systems.
• Exposure to utility-scale power plants of 300 MW and above .
• Experience handling shutdowns, overhauls, and reliability improvement programs.
• Experience managing maintenance teams, contractors, and OEMs.
• Working knowledge of SAP PM or equivalent CMMS systems.

Non-Negotiable Requirements
