Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Manager - Mechanical to lead maintenance of API plant equipment, ensuring high uptime and adherence to GMP and safety standards. You will coordinate CAPA actions with QA & EHS, plan capex, and drive efficient execution across maintenance activities.

The role requires BE, strong team leadership, excellent collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and hands-on expertise with reactors, centrifuges and other process equipment.

Qualifications

• Responsible for API plant equipment maintenance to meet production targets.
• Maintain uptime of plant equipment and manage changes.
• Lead CAPA actions and liaise with QA & EHS.
• Capex preparations, estimations, planning and execution.
• Strong team management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Develop procedures/SOPs to meet GMP and safety standards.
• Comply with EHS guidelines and regulatory audits.
• Contractor management and bills verification.
• Knowledge of safety systems and safe working practices.
• Train and lead the team; familiar with GMP documentation.
• Experience with reactors, centrifuges, ANFD, RCVD, Blender, Sifter, Multi Mill, FBD.

Responsibilities

• Need to maintain uptime of plant equipment to meet production targets.
• Responsible for investigation and CAPA actions closure in alignment with QA & EHS.
