Job summary

Brandix Group is seeking a Manager - Production to oversee sewing operations in the plant, drive attainment of targets, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role involves guiding a production team, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Masters / Bachelors’ Degree in Chemistry/ Textile Engineering/ Clothing Technology.
• 6 to 9+ years of experience in sewing operations, with at least 3 years in heading the sewing department.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and deploy assigned customer manufacturing objectives in alignment to business needs; drive production targets and ensure product quality meets specs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth sewing operations.
• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Supervise the team of group leaders and SMOs.

Key purpose of the Job

The Manager - Production oversees the production function (sewing operations) in the Plant. The role holder will guide and motivate the production team to achieve the set production targets effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities include meeting targets for cost, quality, delivery and productivity. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effectively strategizing and deploying assigned customer manufacturing objectives in alignment to business . Drive achievement of production targets and ensure quality of products meets customer/buyer specifications
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth sewing operations

Experience
