Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Chennai is seeking a Learning and Development specialist to analyze training needs, design end-to-end programmes, and implement initiatives including Journey Programmes and digital learning across the organization.

You will coordinate sessions, manage LMS records, generate reports in Excel, publish e-learning content, and support Talent and Development Centre activities with PowerPoint, contributing to employee growth and capability building.

Qualifications

• MBA required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify learning requirements.
• Design end-to-end learning programmes based on training requirements.
• Implement initiatives including Journey Programmes and digital learning.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programmes, including pre- and post-assessments, attendance records, and participant evaluation forms.
• Prepare training programme feedback summaries and evaluation reports to assess learning effectiveness.
• Update and maintain training programme details and records on the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Prepare, consolidate, and monitor training-related data using Microsoft Excel for reporting and programme tracking.
• Design and publish e-learning bytes and modules.
• Monitor and analyse digital learning engagement metrics (views, reach, time spent).
• Work with the Talent Manager on Development Centre coordination and track participation.
• Monitor Development Centre data to support employee development and follow-up activities.
• Support Talent Manager in preparing and analysing talent-related data for reviews and initiatives.
• Track Developmental Initiatives (DIs) and talent management activities using Excel.
• Prepare Talent Cards using PowerPoint for development reviews and management discussions.
• Maintain accurate talent management records and assist in reports for management.

• Prepare and update Talent Cards using Microsoft PowerPoint to facilitate talent reviews and management discussions.
• Maintain accurate talent management records and support the preparation of reports and presentations for management review.

Role-Based Organisation (RBO)

• Review staff lists to identify discrepancies in Job Family (JF), Job Sub-Family (JSF), and Job Role mappings.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to validate role mapping data and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor mapping corrections and maintain data accuracy and consistency across RBO records.
