You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee infrastructure, applications, data initiatives, and vendor management, while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in CS/Engineering/IT.
• 8+ years in enterprise IT with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role.
• Strong exposure to ERP, low-code development, AI/ML, cloud platforms.
• Certifications preferred: PMP, ITIL, CISSP, cloud architectures.

Team Leadership:

• IT Operations Manager
• IT Support Manager

Role Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic IT Leadership & Governance

• Define and lead the enterprise-wide IT strategy aligned to business growth, cost-efficiency, and innovation.
• Champion technology adoption across infrastructure, digital tools, automation, and data science.
• Establish and oversee IT governance frameworks, including SOPs, change control, data privacy, and audit compliance.
• Present IT strategy, risks, and ROI metrics to executive management.

2. Core Infrastructure & Operations

• Oversee infrastructure setup and performance at HO and all plants:
  • Desktop/laptop setup SOP
  • Network architecture & NAC using Sophos firewall (MAC ID binding)
  • Patch management and update SOP
  • Backup, restoration, and DR plans
• Ensure business continuity through structured BCP testing and monitoring of endpoint health via centralised tools (e.g., Wazuh, Seqrite).

3. Special Application Development

• Identify internal process gaps and lead the design of custom applications using:
  • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Google Workspace scripting
  • Web-based interfaces and low-code tools
• Guide the Application Support Executive and external developers in design, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Maintain secure SDLC policies, staging/testing environments, and API integrations.

4. Data Analytics & AI Implementation

• Establish an enterprise data framework in collaboration with department heads.
• Oversee implementation of business dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense, Google Data Studio).
• Lead setup of central data repositories and enable data pipelines across ERP, CRM, and external sources.
• Guide AI initiatives in:
  • Predictive maintenance for plants
  • Sales forecasting
  • Inventory optimisation
  • AI-enabled chatbots or support systems
• Ensure compliance with data governance, access control, and model explainability.

5. Applications & ERP Oversight

• Ensure stability and support for enterprise systems:
  • TCS iON ERP, Zoho CRM, Microsoft 365
• Lead strategic planning for integrations, automations, and user enablement.
• Drive ERP enhancement requests, role access reviews, and change management with business stakeholders.

6. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Supervise implementation of cybersecurity policies:
  • Endpoint protection
  • Data access rules
  • USB and network control
  • 2FA and VPN enforcement
• Review audit trails, incident reports, firewall logs, and SIEM alerts.
• Engage with the IT Security Consultant for regular threat reviews, vulnerability assessments, and security training rollouts.

7. People Development & Vendor Management

• Manage a cross-functional team across operations, applications, support, and security.
• Conduct periodic reviews and performance evaluations using structured KRAs.
• Plan learning and certification paths in emerging technologies (cloud, automation, AI).
• Lead vendor evaluations, AMC contracts, IT procurement, and SLA governance.
