ZF Rane Automotive is seeking an experienced IT leader to drive development, process automation, analytics, and infrastructure security across plant operations. You will build web apps, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver real-time BI dashboards to optimize OEE and financial health.

The role requires 11–14 years in IT within Automotive or manufacturing, a BE/B.Tech in IT/CS, and preference for MBA. Strong vendor management and ISO 27001 awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 11–14 years of total IT experience, preferably in Automotive OEM / Tier-1 auto components or discrete manufacturing.
• B.E./B.Tech in IT or CS; MBA/PGDM in relevant areas is highly preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to Python scripting, Power BI dashboard development, SQL databases, and web app frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 ISMS audits, security practices, and enterprise networking.
• Proven leadership, vendor management, budget tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

Role & responsibilities

IT Development, Process Automation & Analytics (50% Weightage)

• Web Application Development & Customization: Oversee and participate in the development, testing, deployment, and enhancement of web-based applications, internal portals, and digital tools tailored to plant production, shop-floor tracking, and corporate workflows.
• Process Automation (Python & Automation Tools): Identify repetitive, manual business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, and administration; engineer automated software solutions using Python scripts, APIs, and workflow tools to reduce cycle times and errors.
• Business Intelligence & Dashboarding (Power BI): Architect, build, and maintain interactive Power BI management dashboards for real-time visibility into plant OEE, production metrics, inventory, financial health, and local IT operations performance.
• Software Development Lifecycle & Vendor Solutions: Act as the functional architect for internal projects gathering requirements, drafting technical specifications, managing external software vendors, evaluating custom packages, and ensuring application maintenance.

IT Infrastructure, Operations & ISO 27001 Security (50% Weightage)

• Infrastructure Operations & Network Availability: Coordinate closely with Central IT to maintain and optimize local infrastructure, server environments, LAN/WAN networks, email systems, and plant-floor connectivity, guaranteeing 99.9% business continuity.
• Information Security & ISO 27001 Compliance: Serve as the primary local lead for Central ISMS alignment. Implement ISO 27001 guidelines, facilitate internal and external surveillance audits, close audit findings, and manage endpoint security, patch updates, and vulnerability assessments.
• IT Asset Lifecycle & Procurement Management: Direct end-to-end local IT asset management (hardware, software licenses, allocation, inventory tracking, and scrap disposal). Handle procurement workflows, vendor negotiations, initial quotation reviews, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
• Helpdesk Management & Stakeholder Alignment: Lead local IT helpdesk operations to ensure high SLA resolution rates for user technical queries. Budget local IT spend, generate operational health reports, and conduct cybersecurity awareness training sessions for employees.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience - 11 to 14 years of total IT experience, preferably in Automotive OEM / Tier-1 Auto Components or Discrete Manufacturing environments.

• Educational Background - B.E. / B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science. An MBA / PGDM in Systems, Operations, or General Management is highly preferred.

• Software & Automation Skills - Technical know-how and hands-on exposure to Python scripting, Power BI dashboard development, SQL databases, Web Application frameworks (HTML, CSS, JS, REST APIs), and process automation.

• Infra & Security Knowledge - Strong working knowledge of enterprise networking, server administration, endpoint security, backup solutions, and ISO 27001 ISMS audit/compliance procedures.

• Leadership & Soft Skills - Exceptional stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, vendor management, budget tracking, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
