Job summary

Re-Sustainability in Assam (Dibrugarh) seeks a Manager – Industrial Waste Management (Operations) to oversee the IWM project. The role requires 8+ years of experience in industrial waste management, with a B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

You will be accountable for achieving KPIs, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvement in waste disposal and treatment. Lead contracts and external vendors, coordinate with stakeholders, and report to the Project Head and Corporate Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial waste management operations and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to analyze operation data to optimize plant performance.
• Experience with budgeting, KPIs, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted operational targets and defined KPIs for the project.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and drive timely closure of identified safety actions.
• Assist in developing, promoting, and implementing new waste disposal and treatment schemes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation related to transportation, handling, treatment, and disposal of industrial waste.
• Collect, compile, and analyze operational data and statistics to optimize plant performance.
• Monitor quality, efficiency, and performance of waste management services.
• Manage contracts and performance of external service providers and vendors.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Support Project Head and Corporate Office through regular reporting and governance.
