JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Indirect Procurement (Office Supplies) to manage end-to-end indirect procurement operations, with strong hands‑on experience in office supplies, stationery and other day‑to‑day corporate procurement requirements.
The candidate will be responsible for vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, rate negotiation, purchase orders, delivery tracking, invoice coordination, vendor management and ensuring timely fulfilment of procurement requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the complete indirect procurement cycle from requirement generation to final delivery and payment coordination.
- Handle procurement of office supplies, stationery, pens, pencils, paper, files, folders, printer consumables and other day‑to‑day office requirements.
- Source and develop new vendors and negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment terms and delivery timelines.
- Manage multiple vendors and ensure timely delivery as per agreed SLA/TAT.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve delivery, quality and service‑related issues.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, GRNs/delivery documentation, vendor invoices and payment coordination with accounts.
- Handle vendor onboarding, documentation, compliance and vendor database management.
- Identify and onboard OEMs, distributors and dealers as per business requirements.
- Manage procurement requirements across multiple locations/PAN India.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers and vendors regarding procurement status, delays and escalations.
- Negotiate with vendors and identify opportunities for cost savings and better commercial terms.
- Prepare procurement MIS and reports using MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and continuously develop new supplier networks.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Graduate in BBA, B.Com or any relevant discipline. MBA will be an added advantage.
- 8–10 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase, with strong hands‑on experience in Indirect Procurement.
- Strong experience in Office Supplies and Stationery procurement.
- Hands‑on experience with RFQs, quotation comparison, negotiation, vendor selection and PO processing.
- Experience in vendor sourcing, onboarding, documentation and performance management.
- Strong understanding of delivery tracking, invoices, GRNs and payment coordination.
- Good communication, negotiation and commercial skills.
- Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets and MIS skills.
- Experience with ERP/procurement software will be preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors, procurement requirements and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience in PAN-India procurement will be an advantage.
- Experience with OEMs, distributors and dealers will be an added advantage.
