Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a seasoned payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll for multiple clients from Bengaluru. You will oversee inputs, validations, reconciliations, and sign-off to ensure timely delivery.

The role focuses on compliance with Indian regulations (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus), overseeing FnF, reimbursements, encashments, and deductions, while building strong client relationships and driving process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Oversee monthly payroll activities, including payroll inputs, validations, reconciliations, and payroll sign-off.
• Ensure compliance with all Indian statutory regulations, including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable labor laws.
• Review payroll calculations, Full & Final Settlements (FnF), reimbursements, leave encashments, and statutory deductions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for payroll operations and escalations.
• Lead payroll transition and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor service delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and quality metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop payroll teams to drive performance and capability building.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization of payroll processes.
• Ensure timely statutory filings, audits, and compliance reporting.
