Role & responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager Finance & Accounts to manage financial reporting, consolidation, audit and compliance, budgeting, MIS, taxation, corporate accounting, and finance process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting and taxation, and the ability to leverage technology, ERP systems, and AI tools to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency.
1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Prepare and consolidate quarterly financial results and management reports.
- Lead the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed audit schedules, supporting workings, and financial reporting packs.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Provide Necessary Data to secretarial department pertaining to board meeting, Annual reports and other secretarial complainces.
2. Audit & Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate with statutory auditors for limited reviews and statutory audits.
- Manage audit requirements, schedules, reconciliations, and timely closure of audit queries.
- Coordinate and oversee tax audit, Income Tax Returns, TDS returns, and other applicable tax compliances.
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting, taxation, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls and compliance processes.
3. FP&A, MIS & Budgeting
- Prepare and present monthly FRM/MIS reports to management.
- Conduct actual vs. budget variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Consolidation of annual budgeting and forecasting, operational as well as Capex
- Prepare management presentations highlighting financial performance, key variances, trends, and business insights.
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports to support management decision-making.
4. Corporate Finance & Accounting Operations
- Manage corporate accounting activities, including accounting review, reconciliations, provisions, and period-end closing.
- Oversee corporate payments and ensure appropriate authorization and financial controls.
- Ensure timely reconciliation and monitoring of key balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Strengthen financial controls and ensure efficient management of accounting operations.
5. Finance Process Automation & Digitalization
- Identify opportunities to automate MIS, financial consolidation, budgeting, reporting, and annual-reporting processes.
- Implement technology-driven solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time.
- Leverage ERP, Advanced MS Excel, Power BI/analytical tools, and AI tools for finance reporting and process automation.
- Drive standardization and digitization of recurring finance processes.
6. Process Improvement
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing finance and accounting processes.
- Design and implement process improvements, controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Continuously improve the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Support finance transformation and continuous-improvement initiatives.
7. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate effectively with statutory auditors, tax consultants, internal teams, management, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely communication and resolution of finance, audit, accounting, and compliance matters.
- Present financial analysis and key business insights to senior management.
