Job summary

Ascent Hr in Vadodara is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a team of accountants across the Accounts/Finance function, including AP, GL, banking, reconciliations, fixed assets, inter-company accounting, and tax compliance.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant/CPA/CIMA/ACCA with 5+ years in accounting/finance, including 2-3 years supervisory experience in BPO/KPO/ITES, and hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, Tally, QuickBooks or SAP, plus strong Excel and English communication

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA designation required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of work experience in Accounting/Finance including 2-3 years supervisory experience.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite highly preferred; exposure to Tally, QuickBooks, SAP is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of accountants overseeing all Accounts/Finance department activities.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, GL Accounting, Banking and reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets, prepaid expenses, amortization/depreciation and inter-company accounting.
• Support external audits, financial reporting, tax and statutory compliance.

Role & responsibilities

Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising a team of accountants overlooking all the Accounts/Finance department activities including but not limited to Accounts Payable, GL Accounting, Banking, Bank Account & Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Fixed Assets & Prepaid Expenses/Amortization, Depreciation, Inter-Company Accounting, External Audit support, Financial Reporting, Tax & Statutory Compliance etc

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant/CPA/CIMA/ACCA
• 5+ years of work experience in Accounting/Finance, including 2-3 years supervisory experience preferably in BPO/KPO/ITES industry.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite highly preferred
• Exposure to other popular Accounting applications, such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills
• Strong ability to collaborate with all levels across the organization
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability
