Job summary

Consilio in Gurugram is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the monthly close for the allocated region and ensure accurate reporting in a timely manner. You will coordinate with global teams to drive close processes in a high-volume environment.

The role requires strong IFRS/USGAAP knowledge, NetSuite ERP experience, and proven ability to manage international entities, mentor teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CA with 8–10 years accounting experience; preferably 3–5 years in public accounting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS / USGAAP.
• Experience in working on NetSuite ERP and global environments.
• Accounting management experience in a high-volume, growing org.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Manages monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting for allocated region.

• Support global statutory audits and coordinate with internal teams for timely audit closure.

• Ensure compliance with global accounting policy and principles; support tax & legal teams.
• Communicate across levels and functions; apply professional accounting concepts to resolve issues.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Manages monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information for allocated region;
2. Review account monthly accounts reconciliations in a manner that is consistent with SOX 404 standards
3. Prepare monthly analytical reviews and variance analysis.
4. Support global Statutory audits with other team members and coordinate with the internal business teams to deliver timely towards audit closure.
5. Collaborating with functions to ensure timely month end close
6. Responsible to ensure all business policies/ procedures are appropriate and timely updated and fully compliant with all internal/ external regulations and requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with global accounting policy & accounting principles Support tax & legal team on requirements
8. Effectively communicates across levels and functions of the organization;
9. Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues;

Preferred candidate profile

1. Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years related accounting experience; preferably 3-5 years public accounting experience;
2. Strong understanding of IFRS / USGAAP
3. Experience in working on NetSuite ERP preferred.
4. Experience working in global environment and managing international entities experience preferred.
5. Accounting management experience in a high volume, growing organization.
6. Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, time management and prioritization skills required
8. Experience in managing teams in global organizations, able to manage work volumes with effective delegation as well as be ready to roll up sleeves to get the tasks completed.
9. Be a self-starter and able to handle assigned tasks effectively and independently.
10. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to keep a team focused and manage an area with minimum oversight from Sr Manager. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
11. Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate the staff to work and act with sense of urgency
