Job summary

Calsoft in Pune District, Maharashtra seeks an experienced Manager Finance to oversee the entire accounts function and drive timely monthly P&L closings and quarterly closings. The role requires leading a 4–5 person team, ensuring meticulous processes, and collaborating with Admin/HR/IT for smooth ERP operations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of accounting experience, strong ERP knowledge (prefer SAP), and a track record in IT services environments. IT organisations background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in medium-sized IT companies.
• Experience in leading a 4–5 member accounts team (AR/AP/FA).
• Proficient in closing monthly and quarterly books and P&L closes.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems; preference for SAP-based environments.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Admin, HR and IT.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the entire accounts function ensuring timely monthly P&L closings and quarterly closings.
• Manage a team of 4–5 accounts staff handling AR/AP/FA.
• Collaborate with Admin, HR and IT for seamless operations.
• Ensure meticulous and detailed financial processes and reporting.

Job Description

We are looking for someone to - oversee the whole Accounts function in SAP such that we start doing timely monthly P&L closings, quarterly full closings etc happen.

The person needs to :

1. Have good understanding of accounts/ and related processes
2. Understanding of how to work in cross functional roles required for ERP (as opposed to tally)
3. In order of preference - SAP B1, SAP enterprise, Any other ERP
4. Should be meticulous and detailed.
5. Maturity to manage the team of 4-5 accounts people who manage AR/AP/FA etc.
6. maturity to deal with other departments like Admin/HR/IT etc
7. Should be independently responsible for monthly closures

Years of Experience 10 plus years of experience

Team handling experience is a must.

Accounting experience is a must
