Job summary

Calsoft is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee the entire Accounts function in SAP, driving timely monthly P&L closings and quarterly closings. You will manage a team of 4-5 accounts staff handling AR/AP/FA and coordinate ERP-related cross-functional work across Admin/HR/IT.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting experience, strong ERP familiarity, and a meticulous, independent approach to monthly closures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in IT/ERP environment.
• Team leadership experience managing 4-5 accounts staff is required.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger processes.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is required.
• Meticulous, detail oriented, and able to work independently on monthly closings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Accounts function in SAP to ensure timely monthly P&L closings and quarterly closings.
• Coordinate cross-functional ERP processes and collaborate with Admin/HR/IT.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 accounts personnel (AR/AP/FA).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and monthly closings.
• Support inter-departmental initiatives and process improvements.

Job description

We are looking for someone to - oversee the whole Accounts function in SAP such that we start doing timely monthly P&L closings, quarterly full closings etc happen.

The person needs to :

1) Have good understanding of accounts/ and related processes

2) Understanding of how to work in cross functional roles required for ERP (as opposed to tally)

3) In order of preference - SAP B1, SAP enterprise, Any other ERP

4) Should be meticulous and detailed.

5) Maturity to manage the team of 4-5 accounts people who manage AR/AP/FA etc.

6) maturity to deal with other departments like Admin/HR/IT etc

7) Should be independently responsible for monthly closures

• Years of Experience – 10 plus years of experience
• Team handling experience is a must.
• accounting experience is a must
