Larsen & Toubro in Tamil Nadu seeks an experienced Lead – Plant Utilities to oversee electrical systems, HVAC, water, and related infrastructure ensuring uninterrupted production.

The role demands hands-on leadership, budget planning, vendor management, and driving sustainability initiatives such as solar energy and water conservation on site.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage all plant utility operations (electrical systems, compressors, HVAC, chillers, DG sets, water systems).
• Ensure 100% utility uptime to support uninterrupted production.
• Develop and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance for all utility equipment.
• Control and optimize energy costs across electricity, diesel, water and compressed air.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, pollution control, and fire & safety regulations.
• Prepare annual utility budgets and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead RCA-based breakdown analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Plan capacity for new production lines and expansions.
• Manage vendor contracts, AMCs, and contractor performance. Drive sustainability initiatives like solar power, energy efficiency, water conservation, and carbon footprint reduction.
