Job summary

Stellar Formulations is seeking a hands-on Electrical Maintenance professional to manage and maintain pharma equipment and panels. You will troubleshoot complex electrical issues, perform earth and HT/ LT testing, read SLDs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leading preventive maintenance, reporting daily, and driving energy efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with motors, MCCBs, VFDs, PLC validation, and automation logic changes, while coordinating

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with RMU, transformers, LT/HT breakers, MCCBs and power/control systems.
• Experience with motors, starters, cables, terminations and cabling schedules.
• Ability to perform electrical testing including earth tests and IR testing on transformers.
• Familiarity with SMPS, UPS, battery banks, fire protection systems and ELV systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs and diagnose breakdowns in pharma/utilities.
• Capable of leading maintenance, improving PM schedules and maintaining records.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, permits, and regulator interactions.
• Experience with CSV/ PLC validation and automation logic changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical pharma equipment and panels.
• Lead electrical work, track maintenance and report abnormalities daily.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical problems in pharma machinery.
• Manage electrical testing and record-keeping per cGMP requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical inspectors for reports and approvals.
• Implement cost-saving measures and monitor energy consumption.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Should have hands on experience on RMU, Transformer, CT, PT, LT breaker, Power and Motor control centres, Power factor and harmonics Control, Induction Motors, Servo Motor, Starter, DG, Switch gears etc.
2. Should have hands on experience on motors, starters, Cable schedule, Cable gland, cable termination, MCCB, MCB, Power and control circuits and wiring, Electrical LED fixtures etc.
3. Ensure to carry out the electrical testing like, earth testing and HT, LT cable & Transformer IR testing etc.
4. Should have hands on experience of SMPS, UPS and Battery Bank system, Fire alarm System, Fire hydrant system, welding machine, Grinder, Heaters, LEL, ELV system etc.
5. Should have hands on experience on instruments like pressure transmitter, DP transmitter, Controllers, Pressure Switch, VFD, Static Relays, Capacitive level transmitter, Level controller, Temperature sensor and transmitter etc.
6. Should have hands on experience the Perform the preventive maintenance of all electrical & pharma equipment/panel and maintain the records. And should actively engaged in improvement of Preventive maintenance schedule to increase the machine up time.
7. To check and attend the trouble shooting of complex electrical problems and failure of pharma machineries.
8. Should have hands on experience to read the electrical drawing and SLD & should able to diagnose the electrical breakdown of pharma and utility machineries like like, IBR boiler, Chiller, Air compressor AHUs, Dehumidifiers etc.
9. Must be aware about the electrical safety and work permits.
10. Responsible to deliver all the assignment on time and daily reporting for any abnormal observations/ assignments/breakdowns.
11. Should have knowledge of tracking of monthly and MIS report.
12. Responsible to lead the electrical department for all the electrical work like, Electrical testing like earth testing, cable IR testing, CRM etc for LT and HT equipment, electrical power consumption, breakdowns along with filling of records as per cGMP requirements.
13. Responsible to deal with electrical inspector for submission of electrical testing report and DG set approval. Also responsible for amendment in any electrical switch gears, power revision, or solar plant etc.
14. Responsible for the implementation of the cost saving and analysis of trend of the energy and power consumption on daily basis.
15. Will be responsible for CSV, PLC validation and modifications of automation controls and logics.
