Job summary

Advanced Medtech Solutions in Vadodara, India, seeks an experienced Plant Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance of plant machinery, utilities, and processes. The role drives preventive and predictive maintenance, audits readiness, and cross-functional actions with Operations and QA to improve processes and reliability.

With 10–15 years in plant engineering or related fields and a BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering, you will lead engineers and technicians, manage suppliers, and ensure GMP

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in plant engineering/maintenance/utilities.
• Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries preferred.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of plant machinery, equipment, and utilities.
• Plan and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Partner with Operations and QA for process improvement, failure investigation, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Manage installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain engineering, maintenance, and daily utility documentation and records.
• Monitor and control utility consumption, maintenance expenses, and running costs.
• Represent Engineering in customer, internal, and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Manage engineering vendors and AMC/service providers and verify vendor bills for timely processing.
• Lead, train, and develop engineers and technicians.
• Prioritize daily engineering activities and ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
• Drive energy-saving, cost-reduction, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
