Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced engine design engineer for Mohali, India. The role involves designing engine components in NX, managing part design in PLM, and contributing to new concepts, product development, and cost reduction.

You will create and release 2D/3D drawings, manage engineering releases, and address field issues during trials. Exposure to DVP, DFMEA, SOPs and benchmarking is desired.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile or M.Tech in relevant field.
• 4–7 years of experience in engine design and development.
• Experience with NX and PLM for part design.

Responsibilities

• Design of engine components and sub-assemblies in NX and management of part design in PLM.
• Development of engine parts for new concepts, product development, improvements, and cost reduction.
• Creation and release of 2D and 3D drawings for engine parts and subsystems.
• Engineering releases for new or changed parts and management of Add-Del.
• Field issue resolutions and support during trials at plants.
• Development of DVP, DFMEA and SOPs.
• Execution of engine/component benchmarking and engine assembly support to plants during trials.
• Analysis of parts from engine endurance and field testing.
