Job summary

Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB) is seeking an experienced E&I Engineer to manage all electrical and instrumentation activities across the plant. The role focuses on ensuring smooth production line operations, preventive maintenance, and project execution within safety and regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds BE Electronics Instrumentation or ICE, or M. Tech in Instrumentation/Automation, with 8–10 years of relevant experience in E&I, and demonstrated ability to manage budgets

Qualifications

• BE Electronics Instrumentation Engineering / ICE (Instrumentation and Control Engineering) or M. Tech (Instrumentation or Automation)
• 8-10 years of Work Experience in E&I
• Experience in maintenance planning and adherence to production schedules

Responsibilities

• Manage all E&I maintenance activities to ensure production schedules and maximize productivity
• Oversee annual maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and preventive maintenance systems
• Execute Electrical and Instrumentation engineering projects
• Design and implement preventive maintenance systems, asset registers
• Prepare and control annual plant maintenance budgets
• Maintenance planning and vendor development for spares and outside services
• Ensure safety of personnel, facilities and equipment
• Adhere to local laws including labor, pollution control, fire, safety and electrical installations

Job description

Role & responsibilities

The job objective is to manage all activities and projects related to the E& I function for smooth function of production lines, process areas, utilities of the entire plant

Job Responsibilities

1. To manage all E&I Maintenance activities in the plant to ensure adherence to production schedules and maximize productivity


2. Overall responsibility for all maintenance activities including annual maintenance, breakdown maintenance of all equipment, and preventive maintenance systems.


3. Execution of all Electrical and Instrumentation engineering projects


4. Designing and implementing appropriate systems preventive maintenance, equipment history and asset register.


5. Preparation and control of annual plant maintenance budgets.


6. Maintenance planning and control.


7. Developing vendors for spares and contractors for outside maintenance services


8. Safety of personnel, facilities and equipment.


9. Overall responsibility for adherence to local laws, especially labor laws, pollution control laws, fire and explosives, safety, electrical installations etc.

The candidate should have below skills

• Siemens S7 300,S7 400 & TIA 1500 Programming & troubleshooting.


• Sinamics (Simotion) Servo drives.


• Siemens servo motors.


• Siemens HMI Wincc programming and troubleshooting.

In additional to this if a candidate is having knowledge on B&R, Elau & Danfoss products is added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: BE Electronics Instrumentation Engineering / ICE (Instrumentation and Control Engineering) or M. Tech. (Instrumentation or Automation)

Work Experience: 8 - 10 yrs (Especially in E&I)
