Job summary

Metaphor Infotech Mumbai is seeking a Manager for the DPP Accounting Group, specializing in US GAAP and IFRS, to support complex accounting matters and technical guidance across global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is CA/CPA/ACCA with 6–10 years in Technical Accounting or Accounting Advisory, strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, SEC reporting, and a Big 4 background. You will mentor juniors and contribute to policy initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical accounting or accounting advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with accounting policy, financial reporting, and SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q).
• Experience with researching complex accounting transactions and standards.
• Big 4 experience preferred (KPMG, EY, PwC, Deloitte).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and interpret US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex business transactions.
• Review financial statements, disclosures, and SEC filings.
• Assist in drafting accounting policies, technical memos, and accounting guidance.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and leadership teams on accounting matters.
