Job summary

Velox Automation in Gujarat is seeking an experienced electrical design professional to design LT/HT panels, MCC, PCC, and APFC panels, translating customer specifications into robust layouts using EPLAN and AutoCAD. You will collaborate with project managers and manufacturing engineers, review designs, and drive improvements while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 12 years of experience in LT/HT panels design.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed & Draw-out panels and switchgear design.
• Hands-on experience with protection relay logic development is a plus.
• Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer specifications and contract documents from a technical perspective.
• Design and develop electrical panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN and AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with project managers and manufacturing engineers to ensure project success and timely delivery.
• Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments to optimize design efficiency and ensure compliance with standards.
• Select components like circuit breakers, relays, connectors based on project requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design changes and milestones.
• Allocate and monitor work assignments to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Review designs developed by junior engineers and provide feedback.
• Drive process improvements within the design department.

Desired Candidate Profile:
