Job summary

Jetco Industries in Morbi, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Design Engineer to design LT/LV panels and related assemblies, ensuring compliance with IEC/IS standards.

You will prepare SLDs, perform short-circuit and cable sizing analyses, and provide on-site support during installation and commissioning. A strong CAD background and knowledge of safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control circuits

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels and power panels in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Strong knowledge of LT/LV electrical panel design and manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, VFD and distribution panels.
• Good understanding of ACB, MCCB, MCB, contactors, relays, CTs, meters, protection relays and other LV components.
• Knowledge of busbar sizing, short-circuit calculations, cable sizing and component selection.
• Ability to understand and prepare SLD and control wiring diagrams.
• Good knowledge of panel construction, IP ratings, form of separation, cable routing and component mounting.
• Familiarity with relevant IEC/IS standards for LV switchgear and assemblies.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and technical datasheets.
• Provide technical support during installation and troubleshooting
• Maintain design documentation and follow revision control procedures

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control circuits
• Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Insta-Quote or similar.
• Understanding of electrical safety practices and regulatory standards
