Job summary

PIMA CONTROLS is seeking an electrical design engineer to design and develop electrical control panels such as PCC, MCC, PLC, VFD, and APFC panels. You will prepare GA drawings, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics while coordinating with procurement for BOMs and component selection.

You will ensure designs meet IEC/IS/UL standards and optimize layouts for space, heat dissipation, and safety. You will contribute to manufacturing drawings, production coordination, testing, FAT, and

Qualifications

• Design and develop electrical control panels to meet project requirements.
• Prepare GA drawings, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinate with procurement for components.
• Perform component selection (MCB, MCCB, ACB, relays, PLC, etc.) based on project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC / IS / UL standards.
• Optimize panel layout for space, wiring, heat dissipation, and safety.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings and documentation for fabrication.
• Coordinate with the production team for panel assembly and troubleshooting.
• Support testing, FAT, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in cost estimation and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels for projects and ensure compliance with standards.
• Create and review GA drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams for manufacturing.
• Coordinate BOM creation with procurement and track component availability.
• Select appropriate electrical components to meet specifications and safety norms.

• Work with production to resolve assembly and commissioning issues.
