Job summary

Comviva Technology is seeking an experienced investor relations and FP&A professional to build compelling investor decks, tailor materials for conversations, and coordinate inputs from across the business.

You will own the investor dataroom end-to-end, prepare board packs and KPI dashboards, manage close timelines, run financial modelling for group and product lines, and conduct secondary market research to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • CFA Level 2 or above, or CA, or ACCA, or MBA.
  • 2–5 years in investment banking, transaction services or advisory at a Big 4 firm, PE/VC, corporate finance, or strategic FP&A.
  • Degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or a comparable quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the investor deck - structure the narrative, build the charts, and keep every figure tied back to the model.
  • Produce tailored materials for specific investor conversations, including teasers, one-pagers, and follow-up analyses.
  • Prepare responses to investor diligence questions, coordinating inputs from across the business.
  • Own the investor dataroom end to end: structure, contents, version control, access permissions, and audit trail.
  • Keep the room current as the business evolves, and track what has been shared with whom and when.
  • Apply judgement on staging - what is appropriate to share at each point in a process.
  • Prepare the board pack: performance against plan, KPI dashboards, variance commentary, and supporting analysis.
  • Run the production timeline - chase contributors, consolidate inputs, manage review cycles, and circulate on schedule.
  • Track and follow up on board and committee action items.
  • Own the business MIS, keeping the reporting pack that tracks key business metrics accurate and current on a defined cycle.
  • Pull and reconcile data from finance, product, and operations systems, maintaining a single source of truth for the headline numbers used in investor, board, and internal reporting.
  • Explain movements in the metrics rather than only reporting them, and flag emerging issues early.
  • Improve reporting over time - automate manual steps, tighten metric definitions, and shorten each close cycle.
  • Maintain and extend the group financial model: actuals updates, forecast refreshes, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Build unit economics and cohort analysis for lending and card products across markets.
  • Turn research into a short, decision-ready output: what was found, what it means, what has been assumed, and how confident the conclusion is.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Investor Materials Fundraising Support

  • Build and maintain the investor deck - structure the narrative, build the charts, and keep every figure tied back to the model.

  • Produce tailored materials for specific investor conversations, including teasers, one-pagers, and follow-up analyses.

  • Prepare responses to investor diligence questions, coordinating inputs from across the business.

Dataroom Management

  • Own the investor dataroom end to end: structure, contents, version control, access permissions, and audit trail.

  • Keep the room current as the business evolves, and track what has been shared with whom and when.

  • Apply judgement on staging - what is appropriate to share at each point in a process.

Board Reporting

  • Prepare the board pack: performance against plan, KPI dashboards, variance commentary, and supporting analysis.

  • Run the production timeline - chase contributors, consolidate inputs, manage review cycles, and circulate on schedule.

  • Track and follow up on board and committee action items.

MIS Performance Reporting

  • Own the business MIS, keeping the reporting pack that tracks key business metrics accurate and current on a defined cycle.

  • Pull and reconcile data from finance, product, and operations systems, maintaining a single source of truth for the headline numbers used in investor, board, and internal reporting.

  • Explain movements in the metrics rather than only reporting them, and flag emerging issues early.

  • Improve reporting over time - automate manual steps, tighten metric definitions, and shorten each close cycle.

Financial Modelling

  • Maintain and extend the group financial model: actuals updates, forecast refreshes, scenario and sensitivity analysis.

  • Build unit economics and cohort analysis for lending and card products across markets.

  • Keep the model clean, documented, and auditable - someone else should be able to pick it up and follow it.

Secondary Research Market Analysis

  • Run secondary research on markets, products, competitors, and regulation using publicly available sources.

  • Find, assess, and cite credible sources - central bank and regulator publications, World Bank and Findex data, GSMA and industry reports, scheme and switch disclosures, competitor filings, news, and trade press.

  • Size market opportunities where the question calls for it (for example, the addressable opportunity for a card business in Rwanda), triangulating from multiple sources and comparable markets.

  • Turn research into a short, decision-ready output: what was found, what it means, what has been assumed, and how confident the conclusion is.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate between finance, product, credit, commercial, ops, and legal to gather what investor and board material requires.

Commercial Contract Support

  • Read and summarise routine commercial documents - NDAs, MOUs, LOIs, and term sheets.

  • Support the legal team. Drafting and negotiation are not expected, but knowing what you are looking at and when to raise a hand is.

Qualifications

Required

  • CFA Level 2 or above, or CA, or ACCA, or MBA.

  • 2-5 years in investment banking, transaction services or advisory at a Big 4 firm, private equity or venture capital, corporate finance, or a strategic finance / FPA seat at a growth-stage company.

  • A degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or a comparable quantitative discipline.

Good to Have Skills

  • Prior exposure to fintech, lending, payments, or cards - particularly in African or other emerging markets.

  • Experience supporting a live fundraise, due diligence process, or MA transaction.
