Job description

About The Role

We are looking for a Manager to sit at the centre of our investor, board and strategic finance work. You will be the person who turns numbers into a story — building the investor deck, keeping the financial model current, running the dataroom, and preparing the material our board and investors rely on.

Manager — Corporate Finance

Location: Gurgaon, Delhi NCR
Experience: 2–5 years
Type: Full-time

We are looking for a Manager to sit at the centre of our investor, board and strategic finance work. You will be the person who turns numbers into a story — building the investor deck, keeping the financial model current, running the dataroom, and preparing the material our board and investors rely on.
This is a high-visibility seat with direct exposure to the CFO, CEO and board. You will work across finance, product, credit, commercial and legal to pull together the inputs, and you will own the quality of what goes out.

What You Will Do
Investor materials and fundraising support
  • Build and maintain the investor deck — structure the narrative, build the charts, keep every figure tied back to the model.
  • Produce tailored materials for specific investor conversations, including teasers, one-pagers and follow-up analyses.
  • Prepare responses to investor diligence questions, coordinating inputs from across the business.
Dataroom management
  • Own the investor dataroom end to end: structure, contents, version control, access permissions and audit trail.
  • Keep the room current as the business evolves, and track what has been shared with whom and when.
  • Apply judgement on staging — what is appropriate to share at each point in a process.
Board reporting
  • Prepare the board pack: performance against plan, KPI dashboards, variance commentary and supporting analysis.
  • Run the production timeline — chase contributors, consolidate inputs, manage review cycles and circulate on schedule.
  • Track and follow up on board and committee action items.
MIS and performance reporting
  • Own the business MIS — keep the reporting pack that tracks the key metrics of the business accurate and up to date on a defined cycle.
  • Pull and reconcile data from finance, product and operations systems, and maintain a single source of truth for the headline numbers used in investor, board and internal reporting.
  • Explain movements in the metrics rather than only reporting them, and flag emerging issues early.
  • Improve the reporting over time — automate manual steps, tighten metric definitions and shorten the time it takes to close each cycle.
Financial modelling
  • Maintain and extend the group financial model: actuals updates, forecast refreshes, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Build unit economics and cohort analysis for our lending and card products across markets.
  • Keep the model clean, documented and auditable — someone else should be able to pick it up and follow it.
Secondary research and market analysis
  • Run secondary research on markets, products, competitors and regulation using publicly available sources.
  • Find, assess and cite credible sources — central bank and regulator publications, World Bank and Findex data, GSMA and industry reports, scheme and switch disclosures, competitor filings, news and trade press.
  • Size market opportunities where the question calls for it — for example, the addressable opportunity for a card business in Rwanda — triangulating from multiple sources and comparable markets.
  • Turn research into a short, decision-ready output: what you found, what it means for us, what you have assumed, and how confident you are.
Cross-functional coordination
  • Co-ordinate between finance, product, credit, commercial, ops and legal to gather what investor and board material requires.
Commercial and contract support
  • Read and summarise routine commercial documents — NDAs, MOUs, LOIs and term sheets
  • Support the legal team. You are not expected to draft or negotiate, but you are expected to know what you are looking at and when to raise a hand.
Must-have Skills

These are mandatory and will be tested during the process.

PowerPoint

Builds a clean, investor-grade slide from scratch without a template. Strong grasp of slide logic, chart selection and visual hierarchy. Works fast and to a consistent house style.

Excel

INDEX/MATCH and XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, nested logic, data tables, pivot tables, Power Query desirable. No hardcoded values buried in formulas. Clean, auditable, well-laid-out workbooks.

Financial modelling

Driver-based three-statement models with separated inputs, calculations and outputs. Scenario and sensitivity toggles. Comfortable with unit economics, cohort/vintage analysis.

Qualifications
  • Required — CFA Level 2 or above, or CA, or ACCA or MBA.
  • Required — 2–5 years in investment banking, transaction services or advisory at a Big 4 firm, private equity or venture capital, corporate finance, or a strategic finance / FP&A seat at a growth-stage company.
  • Required — A degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or a comparable quantitative discipline.
Good to have
  • Prior exposure to fintech, lending, payments or cards — particularly in African or other emerging markets.
  • Experience supporting a live fundraise, due diligence process or M&A transaction.
