Schwing Stetter is seeking a design lead to steer the R&D/Design Product team in creating innovative and validated designs for concrete machinery. You will oversee the full product lifecycle from concept and 3D modelling to prototyping, testing, and manufacturing release for both new and existing products.

Qualifikationen

• Design and development of off-road/construction equipment for the equipment segment.
• Lead the R&D/Design Product team to create and validate new designs for concrete machinery.
• Knowledge of vehicle integration, structure design, hydraulic systems, sheet metal, and engine integration.
• Prepare 3D models, weldment drawings, and assemblies; release activities for new and current products.
• Coordinate with design groups and production on shop floor during development.

Job Summary

• - Responsible for leading the R&D/ Design Product team in creating, innovating, and validating new product designs for concrete machinery.
• - He will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept, design calculation, and 3D modeling to shop-floor prototyping, testing, and manufacturing release for New Product development and current product development.
• - His role will be to ensures that all equipment designs meet high performance, safety, cost-efficiency, and quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

Must Have Skills

• Design and development of Off‑road equipment (concrete or construction Equipment) for the Equipment segment.
• Responsible for leading the R&D/ Design Product team in creating, innovating, and validating new product designs for concrete machinery.
• Design knowledge of Vehicle integration, Structure design, Hydraulic system design, sheet metal design and Engine integration.
• Generate new concept, ideas and improving concrete or construction Equipment performance.
  Preparation of 3D model, weldment drawing, assembly drawing using SolidEdge Software, bought out items tec. and release process activities.
• Co‑ordination with other product design group for brig the technology and coordination with production in shop floor during new product development.
• Problem solving through determine root cause analysis approach (Like 8D, Fish bone diagram etc.) and testing activities.
• Design calculation for new product & current product.
  Reviewing and freezing the technical specification and drawings of OEM components.
• Understand the Market & Customer requirements, verify the new product technology requirement with Customer's requirements.
• Plan & monitor the performance of technology design team.
• Strong communication, analytical & interpersonal skills for interacting with internal department personnel, customers, vendors and senior management.

Nice to Have Skills

• Hands on experience in designing mechanical off‑road (Concrete Equipment or Construction Equipment) equipment by design principles and validation using FE program.
• 3D Modelling, 2D drafting skills, arriving BOM.
• Hydraulic System design, selection of components, routing system design.
• Basic knowledge on any CAE/ FEA software.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities

• Study, develop and Implement New product/ Equipment technology design, Design improvements for off‑road (construction or Concrete product) equipment.
• Design Calculation for New development and validation by FE analysis.
• Concrete or Construction Equipment technology & innovation updates.
• Prepare CAD concept model, Product specification, Power setting, Test requirement & test data.
• Study and prepare alternate for OEM/ bought out items for cost reduction.
• Experience of design patent & design registration for equipment.
• Technical support to Vendors, Customers and Internal departments.
• Generate new ideas and improving Design productivity.
• Co‑ordination for Proto Assembly at shop-floor and Testing.
• Preparation of 3D model & 2D drawing etc.
