Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in Chennai is seeking a Manager- DAC (AD CDMM) to lead capability building across STA and DE domains, upgrade teams with new technologies, and manage capacity for commodity parts across multiple platforms. The role involves creating a technology roadmap with COE and ensuring execution in live projects.

You will drive process improvements through digitization, analytics, and IT enablement; develop domain expertise in the commodity; manage supplier relationships; and

• New Part Development System (MP, EP, PP)
• APQP, SPC, and problem-solving techniques
• Decisions to zero base costing
• Cost control and technical/business understanding

Responsibilities

• Capability Building of both STA and DE domains in platform teams.
• Upgrade teams with new technological skills to ensure future readiness.
• Capacity Management: ensure capacity of parts related to the commodity across multiple platforms.
• Create a technology roadmap with COE and stakeholders and deploy to live projects.
• Improve processes and systems through digitization, IT enablement, analytics, etc.
• Develop domain expertise in the commodity to help deliver on projects.
• Supplier relationship management.
• Support platform for IMCR.
• Manning/resource allocation to enable platform teams to deliver TCP objectives.
• Provide solutions/alternatives in conflicting delivery situations.
• Debottleneck system/functional interface conflicts.
• Coordinate between multiple platform teams for a common supplier.

Manager- DAC (AD CDMM) Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Description of the job and key result areas:

Function related

• Capability Building of both STA and DE domains in platform teams
• Ensure future readiness by continuously upgrading teams with new technological skills
• Capacity Management: Ensure Capacity of Parts related to his Commodity in case of Common supplier serving multiple Platforms.
• Ensure a Technology roadmap is created along with COE and relevant stakeholders using a structured forum and deploy them to live projects
• Improvisation of processes and systems through various means such as Digitization, IT enablement, Analytics etc.
• Create required domain expertise in commodity to help deliver on projects
• Supplier relationship management
• Support platform for IMCR

Target Platform related

• Manning/Resource Allocation - Enable platform teams to deliver on TCP objectives through optimal allocation of competent resources
• Solution Provider in conflicting situations - Provide solutions/alternatives in case of conflicting situations being faced by delivery team
• Help Debottleneck all System/Functional interface conflicts faced by the delivery team
• Ensure proper coordination between multiple platform teams while reaching out to a common supplier
