Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a senior professional with BE and 20 years of experience to lead capability building for STA and DE domains across platform teams in Chennai. You will ensure future readiness by upgrading teams with new skills and manage capacity for parts from key suppliers.

Role requires strong technical and commercial understanding, including APQP/SPC, and the ability to coordinate with COE and multiple stakeholders to drive a technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• New Part Development System (MP, EP, VP, PP), APQP, SPC, and Problem-solving techniques.
• Decisions to Zero base costing.
• Cost Control.
• Technical knowledge.
• Commercial knowledge on various taxation and Inco terms.

Responsibilities

• Capability Building of STA and DE domains in platform teams.
• Ensure future readiness by upgrading teams with new technological skills.
• Capacity Management: ensure capacity of Parts related to this Commodity for common suppliers.
• Create a technology roadmap with COE and stakeholders and deploy to live projects.
• Digitization, IT enablement, analytics to improve processes and systems.
• Create domain expertise in the commodity to aid project delivery.
• Supplier relationship management.
• Support platform for IMCR targets.
• Manning/resource allocation to enable platform teams for TCP objectives.
• Provide solutions in conflicting situations for delivery teams.
• Debottleneck system/interface conflicts in delivery teams.
• Coordinate between multiple platform teams and a common supplier.

Description of the job and key result areas:

Function related:

• Â Capability Building of both STA and DE domains in platform teams
• Â Ensure future readiness by continuously upgrading teams with new technological skills
• Â Capacity Management: Ensure Capacity of Parts related to his Commodity in case of Common supplier serving multiple Platforms.
• Â Ensure a Technology roadmap is created along with COE and relevant stakeholders using a structured forum and deploy them to live projects
• Â Improvisation of processes and systems through various means such as Digitization, IT enablement, Analytics etc.
• Â Create required domain expertise in commodity to help deliver on projects
• Â Supplier relationship management
• Â Support platform for IMCR Target

Platform related:

• Â Manning/Resource Allocation - Enable platform teams to deliver on TCP objectives through optimal allocation of competent resources
• Â Solution Provider in conflicting situations - Provide solutions/alternatives in case of conflicting situations being faced by delivery team
• Â Help Debottleneck all System/Functional interface conflicts faced by the delivery team
• Â Ensure proper coordination between multiple platform teams while reaching out to a common supplier
