Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a senior leader to own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and operational processes for scalable production.

You will drive capacity planning, product industrialization, and governance to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery while leading cross-functional teams across functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing or equivalent).
10-15 years of general experience in manufacturing/industrial domains.
Experience in process engineering, optimization, and industrialization.
Strong stakeholder management and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and operational processes.
Develop process documentation, SOPs, and optimize workflows.
Identify opportunities and drive end-to-end process optimization projects.
Ensure governance and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee new product industrialization lifecycle from concept to production readiness.
Drive capacity planning and productivity improvements across equipment and tooling.
Lead sustenance budgeting and budget execution.
Manage industrialization of engineering changes including CRE.
Execute CapEx and Revenue budgets and deliver cost efficiencies.
Champion process excellence initiatives to improve PQCDS metrics.

Job description

Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and operational processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Develop and maintainprocess documentation, workbooks, and SOPs, while optimizing workflows, reducing lead times, and improving equipment utilization through effective organization and machine setup strategies.
Evaluate existing processes and equipment toidentify improvement opportunities, and drive end-to-end execution of process optimization and modernization projects.
Ensureprocess adherence, governance, and compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, while actively promoting process discipline across teams.
Overseenew product industrialization lifecycle from concept to execution, ensuring timely and cost-effective readiness for production.
Drivecapacity planning and productivity improvements by executing ramp-up strategies across equipment, tools, jigs, and fixtures to meet business demand.
Leadsustenance budget planning and execution, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization aligned with operational goals.
Manageindustrialization of engineering changes (including CRE – Change Request Engineering) in existing products, ensuring seamless implementation with minimal disruption.
Execute and monitorCapEx and Revenue budgets, ensuring alignment with business targets and delivering cost efficiencies.
Championprocess excellence initiatives by deploying best-in-class technologies and methodologies to enhance and sustain PQCDS (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety) performance.
