Job summary

Adani Power in Korba District, India, seeks a seasoned Lead for Construction activities related to Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems for Thermal Power Plant Projects. You will oversee BTG and BOP packages, monitor installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning activities on site.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years in C&I projects, with strong DCS/PLC, field instrumentation expertise, and proven leadership to drive schedules, safety, and quality in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of overall experience in C&I projects and commissioning.
• Experience in thermal power plant projects (Greenfield/Brownfield).
• Strong knowledge of field instruments, control systems and commissioning activities.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with multiple agencies.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in C&I construction and installation for BTG and BOP packages of Thermal Power Plants.
• Strong expertise in DCS/PLC systems, field instrumentation, junction boxes, marshalling panels, and control room integration.
• Proven experience in cable laying, glanding, termination, tray routing, earthing, and instrument hook-up activities.
• In-depth knowledge of loop checking, calibration, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of C&I systems.
• Experience in execution of Greenfield and Brownfield Thermal Power Projects, including contractor management and project coordination.

Qualifications

Qualification: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation.

Experience

Overall, 12–15 years of experience in C&I Projects and Commissioning, with at least 2–3 years of experience in thermal power plant projects.
