Ashirvad Pipes is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead strategic finance and business partnering across manufacturing operations in India. The role focuses on shaping the AOP, driving performance insights, and enabling data-driven decision making with SAP S/4HANA and Power BI.

The candidate will align Sales demand, Supply Chain capacity and Budget considerations through IBP, while ensuring strong internal controls and efficient working capital management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Commercial roles.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in SAP (S/4HANA), Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgeting process and ensure alignment with corporate long-term strategy.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget) and provide actionable insights to business heads to correct performance slippages.
• Prepare and evaluate business cases for new production launches and post-implementation reviews.
• Manage regional pricing frameworks, trade schemes, and distributor margins to protect the bottom line.
• Oversee Order-to-Cash lifecycle; drive initiatives to reduce DSO and manage credit risk.
• Lead integrated business planning (IBP) by aligning Sales, Supply Chain and Finance into one consensus.
• Maintain a robust internal controls environment and lead audits with minimal observations.

Roles and Responsibility

A. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering

Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Lead the vertical budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate long-term strategy.

Performance Management: Conduct monthly variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget) and provide actionable insights to business heads to correct performance slippages.

Decision Support: Prepare and evaluate business cases for new production launch, Post implementation review

B Commercial Excellence & Working Capital

Pricing & Profitability: Manage regional pricing frameworks, trade schemes, and distributor margins to protect the bottom line.

Order-to-Cash (O2C): Oversee the accounts receivable lifecycle; drive initiatives to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)and manage credit risk.

C Integrated Business Planning (IBP) & S&OP

Consensus Leadership: Lead the PRE DMR meeting data and analysis. Act as the neutral arbitrator to align Sales (Demand), Supply Chain (Capacity), and Finance (Budget) into one consensus

Identify gaps between current market trends and the AOP. Propose interventions (e.g., promotions or inventory shifts).

D Statutory Compliance & Controls

Internal Controls: Maintain a robust control environment to ensure compliance.

• Audit Management: Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits with zero major observations related to commercials activities (discounts, collections etc).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Net Revenue & EBITDA: Delivery of financial targets.

Forecast Accuracy (FA): Reduction in variance between the IBP plan and actual regional sales.

Working Capital Efficiency: Specific targets for DSO and Inventory Turnover.

Inventory Health: Reduction in SLNM Slow-moving and Obsolete) stock.

Compliance Score:100% compliance on internal control and on time support to Statutory Audit.

Skills and Competencies

10+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Commercial roles.

Minimum 5 years experience with Manufacturing industry
