Job summary

Adler Talent Solutions in Mumbai seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will analyze revenue, margin, EBITDA and build models to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and R&D, provide financial insights for pricing, investments, and product launches, and drive profitability improvement through cost and operating efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Monitor monthly financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and profitability trends.
• Develop financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.
• Provide financial insights for product launches, pricing strategies, and business expansion plans.
• Support management in evaluating investment proposals and business opportunities.
• Drive profitability improvement initiatives across business units.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify key business drivers.
• Track KPIs including sales growth, product profitability, working capital, and operating margins.
• Present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Evaluate product-wise profitability and portfolio performance.
• Support pricing decisions, tender evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Analyze promotional spend effectiveness and return on investment.
• Assess financial impact of new product launches and market expansion.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory levels, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with plant finance teams on standard costing and variance analysis.
• Analyze raw material consumption, yield improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance practices.
