Job summary

Mahindra Group in India seeks an experienced engineer to lead proto vehicle builds, ensuring adherence to MPDS guidelines and delivers key design milestones. You will coordinate with design, vehicle integration, and internal shops to drive actions in projects and support design reviews.

The role requires BE/BTech and 10–12 years in proto build, DFMEA participation, and hands-on quality evaluation, repair and rework as needed.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• 10–12 years of experience in proto vehicle/build environments.
• Experience with automotive build processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proto build PFC, control plan, and build DVP.
• Manage daily proto vehicle build activities.
• Ensure vehicle build process adherence.
• Track and resolve build concerns.
• Coordinate with design, vehicle integration, and internal shops to execute planned actions.
• Deliver build key deliverables per MPDS guidelines.
• Participate in Design Review and DFMEA and provide input to build team.
• Sign off proto vehicle from all design agencies and hand over to testing agency.
• Vehicle build quality evaluation.
• Vehicle repair and rework as needed.

• Responsible for preparation of proto build PFC, Control plan and build DVP
• Responsible for daily work management of proto vehicle build activities
• Responsible for vehicle build process adherence
• Responsible for build concern tracking and resolution
• Coordinating with design team , vehicle integration , and internal shops to execute the planned action in projects
• Responsible for build key deliverables as per MPDS guide lines
• Participation in Design Review, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and provides input to design team by representing build team
• Complete Proto vehicle signoff from all design agencies and vehicle handing over to testing agency for design validation
• Vehicle build quality evaluation
• Vehicle repair and rework
