Job summary

Rhenus Logistics in India is seeking an experienced Air Freight professional to lead day-to-day operations, including Air Export and Air Import. You will drive revenue, manage the Air Freight team, and develop strong customer relationships with airlines and agents.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in Air Freight/Freight Forwarding.
• Hands-on experience in Air Export and Air Import.
• Proven experience in managing Air Freight operations and teams.
• Strong understanding of Air Freight pricing, documentation, processes, and customer requirements.
• Strong commercial and business development orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Air Freight operations, covering both Air Export and Air Import.
• Lead and supervise the Air Freight team to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
• Drive revenue, shipment volumes, customer retention, and business growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, airlines, overseas agents, and other stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and support the Sales team in customer acquisition.
• Ensure competitive pricing, cost control, and healthy margins.
• Resolve customer and operational escalations effectively and ensure timely closure.
