Job Title: Manager – Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Accountant to lead and oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions and ensure seamless financial operations in compliance with US and UK accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting processes, team management, and SAP proficiency, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders. This is a shift-based role requiring flexibility to support 24/7 financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and guide the accounting team, overseeing AP and AR functions.
• Manage and optimize invoice processing, verification, and reconciliation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure strict compliance with US and UK accounting standards while maintaining detailed financial records.
• Execute and oversee SAP-based accounting activities, ensuring data accuracy and integration across financial systems.
• Resolve escalated customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account statements, ensuring high-quality service and issue resolution.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring records are accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting procedures, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve periodic financial reports, addressing any financial discrepancies and ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing accurate financial documentation and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including US and UK accounting practices, AP, AR, and team management.
• Proficiency in SAP for accounting and financial operations is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy in handling financial data.
• Proven ability to manage customer interactions and resolve issues professionally.
• Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an accounting team is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Flexibility to work in a shift-based role and adapt to different shifts as required.

Shift Details

• This position involves shift work, with 4 shifts per day across a 6-day workweek.
• Candidates must be flexible to support 24/7 financial operations.
