Job summary

Comcast in India is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and guide the design and update of software and web applications in alignment with business goals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and release plans, while driving KPIs and maintaining budgets. 5–7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree are preferred; night/weekend work may be required.

• Managing software design and application updates, coordinating roll-outs and ensuring enhancements meet technical specifications.
• Implementing KPIs for development processes, advocating for best practices to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Managing deliverables across the team, ensuring deadlines, specifications, and budgets while mentoring staff for growth.
• Monitoring industry trends, evaluating external products, and keeping the team's knowledge up-to-date.
• Developing proposals, software changes, and managing capital expenditure projects to drive innovation and operational excellence.
• Independent judgment in matters of significance.
• Regular attendance; may need to work nights and weekends depending on project schedules.
