Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to lead DC system design and optimization for solar PV projects. You will perform voltage window and string sizing calculations, review layouts and cable routing plans, and ensure safety and protection measures are integrated into designs. Expertise in AutoCAD and PVsyst is preferred.

The role emphasizes optimizing energy yield, reducing losses, and implementing best practices for DC design guidelines across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong expertise in solar PV DC system design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and PVsyst.
• Knowledge of earthing, lightning protection, and safety systems.
• Understanding of DC system losses and optimization techniques.

• DC System Design & Optimization

• Conduct DC design calculations like voltage window and string sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop, and losses etc
• Define DC design guidelines, best practices, and technical specifications
