Job summary

Goodfit in Mumbai is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist in planning inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with transporters and warehouse teams, and track delivery status. The role involves preparing documents, updating ERP systems, and ensuring on-time pickups.

The ideal candidate will have basic supply chain knowledge, strong communication, and MS Excel skills to support inventory, data accuracy, and process improvements within a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of supply chain / logistics concepts.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of inbound and outbound logistics
• Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and warehouse teams for dispatch and delivery
• Track shipments and update delivery status regularly
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of consignments
• Prepare and verify logistics documents such as LR, invoice, e-way bill, POD, etc.
• Maintain daily MIS reports on shipment status, delays, and exceptions
• Update data in ERP / TMS / Excel sheets
• Assist in inventory tracking and stock reconciliation
• Support warehouse operations including inward, outward, and storage activities
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages
• Respond to customer queries related to shipment status
• Coordinate with sales, accounts, and operations teams for smooth execution
• Escalate issues to seniors for quick resolution
• Follow company SOPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in operations
