Job summary

Epimoney is seeking a Finance Business Partner to drive financial planning, analysis, and execution across multiple business channels. You will own the monthly MIS, run variance analysis against plan, and draft leadership commentary.

Prepare business-level P&L, design cost allocation, and support budgeting and reforecasts. Partner with founders and heads to deliver insights through robust financial models and ad-hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Own the monthly MIS variance analysis with plan and forecast, drafting leadership commentary explaining movements.
• Prepare business-level P&L, designing and applying cost allocation logic anchored to cost drivers.
• Support the planning and forecasting cycles, including the annual budget and periodic reforecasts.
• Act as Finance Business Partner to the businesses analyzing their P&L, delivering on requirements via financial models and ad-hoc analyses.
• Own resolution of auditor queries within assigned areas of ownership across limited reviews and audits.
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis for founders, heads, and other functions spanning profitability initiatives and viability assessments.

What we are looking for in the role:

• Own the monthly management MIS running variance analysis against plan and forecast, tracking performance trends, and drafting the leadership commentary that explains what moved and why.
• Prepare business-level P&L, designing and applying cost allocation logic anchored to correctly identified cost drivers.
• Support the company’s planning and forecasting cycles, including the annual budget and periodic re- forecasts.
• Act as Finance Business Partner to the businesses analyzing their P&L, conducting review meetings with business heads, and delivering on their requirements through financial models and ad-hoc analyses.
• Own resolution of auditor queries within assigned areas of ownership across limited reviews and the audits.
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis for founders, business heads, and other functions spanning profitability initiatives, viability assessments, and business case evaluation.

Ideal candidate

• Strong understanding of Ind‑AS and financial accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, P&L analysis, and unit economics.
• Ability to business-partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and an ownership mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualified CA and exposure of working in CA/Big4 firms
• Familiarity with the BFSI/NBFC sector will be an added advantage, though not mandatory
