The role focuses on planning, performance, and business partnering—owning the operating plan, forecasting, variance explanations, and building dashboards to track portfolio and cost trends.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA Finance with 3-4 years of FP&A, business finance or analytics experience in lending/fintech
• Strong in Excel, auditable data handling
• Exposure to BI tools and dashboards

Responsibilities

• Own the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts, updating through the year.
• Track actuals vs plan, explain variances and flag decisions.
• Prepare monthly performance packs for business, collections and marketing with commentary.
• Partner with business units as finance counterpart in reviews and decisions.
• Model unit economics, breakeven analysis and scenarios for pricing/product calls.
• Identify revenue leakages, billing gaps, pricing anomalies and uncollected dues.
• Track costs by function, channel and vendor to improve visibility.
• Identify inefficiencies and work with heads to size and close them.
• Develop dashboards on portfolio performance, acquisition costs, collection efficiency and cost trends.
• Ensure MIS packs are insightful and detailed.

What this role entails:

Planning & Performance

• Owning the annual operating plan and maintaining it through the year with rollingreforecasts
• Tracking actuals vs plan explaining variances, flagging what needs a decision
• Monthly performance packs for business, collections and marketing teams withclear commentary

Business Partnering

• Finance counterpart for business, collections and marketing teams present intheir reviews, across their decisions
• Modelling unit economics, breakeven and scenarios for pricing and product calls
• Finding and closing revenue leakages billing gaps, pricing anomalies,uncollected dues
• Tracking costs at a granular level by function, channel and vendor
• Identifying inefficiencies and working with function heads to size and close them
• Building cost visibility by driver, vendor and unit metric level
• Building and maintaining dashboards covering portfolio performance,acquisition costs, collection efficiency and cost trends
• Ensuring MIS packs are insightful and detailed.

Skills and background

• CA or MBA Finance with 3-4 years of experience in FP&A, business finance oranalytics in a lending or fintech firm
• NBFC commercial and financial context is essential
• Strong in Excel clean, auditable, usable by others
• Exposure to BI tools ability to build and maintain dashboards independently
