Job summary

Yeemak Private Limited in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment. You will learn under senior engineers and contribute to the overall reliability of manufacturing assets.

You will support installation, servicing and commissioning of new equipment, perform routine inspections, maintain records and ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Learn and perform basic maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic and utility systems.
• Conduct routine machine inspections and report abnormalities.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists and breakdown reports.
• Follow safety procedures, 5S and company maintenance standards.
