Qualifications

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and basic electrical diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, equipment, utilities, and plant facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic instrumentation issues.
• Perform routine inspection of machines and identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules as per the maintenance plan.
• Attend machine breakdowns promptly and minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and spare-parts records.
• Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance activities and machine availability.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure availability and proper usage of critical maintenance spares and tools.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices, and company maintenance standards.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for repeated equipment failures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the maintenance area and equipment are kept in safe condition.
• Support contractors and external service technicians during maintenance and repair activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve machine reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency.
