Job summary

MIRA Wellness Club in central Chennai aims to open in early 2027 and offers a premium wellness experience with coaching, physiotherapy, nutrition, and a cafe. We seek an experienced maintenance technician to manage saunas, chillers, pumps, AC, and electrical systems, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role covers pre-opening fit-out learning, daily/weekly checks, quick fault fixes, vendor management, and stock control.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC.
• 3+ years of maintenance in a hotel, hospital, pool or commercial building.
• Experience with water chillers or pool systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join the final weeks of the fit-out and learn every system as it is installed.
• Run daily and weekly checks; record them.
• Fix faults quickly and quietly, away from members where possible.
• Manage service vendors and maintenance contracts.
• Keep a stock of common spare parts.

Job description

MIRA Wellness Club is a members-only wellness club opening in central Chennai in early 2027. Members get coached strength and conditioning training, in-house physiotherapy, a partner nutritionist and a café. There are separate recovery floors for women and men, each with a sauna and cold plunges.

Our members are busy professionals who want training, recovery and health care in one place. The service standard is closer to a fine hotel than a gym. Chennai is our first club. We plan to open in more Indian cities over the coming years.

The role

You keep the building and its equipment running. That includes sauna heaters, cold plunge chillers, pumps, air conditioning, the generator, and general plumbing and electrical work.

What you will do

Before opening

• Join the final weeks of the fit-out and learn every system as it is installed.

After opening

• Run daily and weekly checks, and record them.
• Fix faults quickly and quietly, away from members where possible.
• Manage service vendors and maintenance contracts.
• Keep a stock of common spare parts.

Who we are looking for

• An ITI or diploma in electrical, mechanical or HVAC work.
• 3 or more years of maintenance in a hotel, hospital, pool or commercial building.
• Experience with water chillers or pool systems is a strong plus.

Pay

• Monthly pay ₹31K to ₹45K (cost to company), depending on experience.
• Performance bonus Tied to equipment uptime.
