Job summary

MIRA Wellness Club in central Chennai invites a meticulous accounts professional to oversee day-to-day financials. You will balance books, coordinate with our external accountant for monthly closing and tax filings, and ensure accuracy in payroll inputs.

Qualifications

• A B.Com or similar degree.
• 2+ years in accounts or administration.
• Comfortable with Tally/Zoho Books and Excel.

MIRA Wellness Club is a members-only wellness club opening in central Chennai in early 2027. Members get coached strength and conditioning training, in-house physiotherapy, a partner nutritionist and a café. There are separate recovery floors for women and men, each with a sauna and cold plunges.

Our members are busy professionals who want training, recovery and health care in one place. The service standard is closer to a fine hotel than a gym. Chennai is our first club. We plan to open in more Indian cities over the coming years.

The role

You keep the club's day-to-day accounts and paperwork in order. You work with our external accountant on monthly closing and tax filings.

What you will do

• Record daily income and expenses.
• Process vendor invoices and payments.
• Prepare payroll inputs and staff records.
• Support GST and TDS paperwork with our accountant.
• Manage petty cash, purchase orders and office administration.

Who we are looking for

• A B.Com or similar degree.
• 2 or more years in accounts or administration.
• Comfortable with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books, and with Excel.
• Careful and organised.

Pay

• Monthly pay ₹33K to ₹48K (cost to company), depending on experience.
• Performance bonus Tied to accuracy and timely closing.
