Maintenance Supervisor

Your future role

Responsible for directing emergency repairs of machinery and plant equipment, specifically for machine electrical preventive maintenance (PM). Manages direct reports to ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Executes the plant’s preventive maintenance plan.

1. Attend daily breakdowns and update machine history for all critical machines to support production priorities.
2. Review work orders to determine work priorities and assign tasks to subordinates.
3. Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
4. Coordinate activities of workers fabricating or modifying machinery.
5. Deploy daily P.M. & Safety P.M. as per schedule, prepare checklists and materials.
6. Assign preventive maintenance work orders based on priority and skill level.
7. Audit completed work orders to ensure proper and safe operation of equipment.
8. Recommend improvements to maintenance instructions and systems.
9. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of all maintenance equipment.
10. Promote safe working conditions and habits.
11. Maintain discipline among subordinates and address poor work performance.
12. Assist in evaluating and fulfilling training needs.
13. Conduct daily shift meetings to discuss safety, recurring issues, and assignments.
14. Handle documentation for TPM, 5S, ISO 14001, IATF, LPA, CSR audits, and update checklists.
15. Ensure proper storage of tools, parts, and equipment.
16. Conduct audits for 5S and other compliance activities.
17. Implement cost-saving projects like Kaizen/White Belt initiatives.
18. Lead projects to reduce costs and improve working conditions.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience with advanced equipment.
• Experience in Utility Maintenance, Robots, PLC troubleshooting (Fanuc Robots).
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and manage conflicts.
• Advanced skills in Excel and presentations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, confident in engaging with senior leadership.
• Adaptability to new challenges and complex concepts.
