Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store in Pune is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to manage press lines, robots, and material handling equipment. You will diagnose mechanical issues, service EOT cranes, and drive proactive Kaizen initiatives to improve uptime.

The role demands strong knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, and interaction with MES- trackable performance metrics. Expect involvement in MTTR/MTBF improvements, capex project execution, spare parts optimization, and strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of press lines and robots.
• Experience with Yaskawa and Schuler equipment.
• Knowledge of PM, TBM, CBM concepts and spares management.
• Ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagrams.
• Exposure to MES and manufacturing execution systems.

Responsibilities

• Program, operate and troubleshoot press lines and EOT cranes.
• Diagnose and repair press mechanical issues and assemblies.
• Operate and troubleshoot robots (Yaskawa, Schuler).
• Improve MTTR and MTBF through proactive Kaizens.
• Control spares costs and ensure timely availability.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and capex projects.
• Ensure equipment safety, statutory checks and calibration.
• Manage fire safety and shop safety systems.
• Monitor energy and water consumption targets.
• Support PM, TBM, CBM activities and MES-related tasks.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Programming , Operation and trouble shooting of Press Lines , EOT cranes
• 2. Diagnosis & trouble shooting Press Mechanical. Depth knowledge and sound concepts for press gears & mechanical assembly and EOT crane mechanical maintenance management
• 3.Operation ,troubleshooting & diagnosis of Robots ( Yaskawa , Schuler)
• 4. Repair and overhauling of robots ( Yaskawa / Schuler ).
• 5. Improvement in MTTR & MTBF by implementing proactive Kaizens.
• 6. Reduction in Spares cost & spares consumption by systematic approach and timely availability
• 7.Scrap conveyor mechanical assembly knowledge and proactive maintenance.
• 8. Execute & improve effectiveness of PM,TBM,CBM activities on equipment.
• 9. Monitor & maintain the power / Air / water consumptions as per the targets
• 10. Execution of Preventive maintenance and capex project management
• 11. Ensuring Equipment Safety/Statutory check and Calibration check.
• 12.Fire safety and safety system management in shop.
• 13. Improve equipment reliability and uptime by Innovative Kaizens.

Functional Competencies

• Equipment Hands on Experience- Operating, Maintaining & troubleshooting / installation & Commissioning.
• 1) Hands on experience of Maintenance of Press line / Robots Material handling equipment's (Yaskawa ,Schuler Make)
• 3) EOT crane maintenance - Rail alignment / PM planning and major maintenance.
• 4) Maintenance knowledge of press shop equipment's, (Hoists, Conveyors,) .
• 5) Knowledge of process parameters, monitoring & controlling the same.
• 6) Understands hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams . Operations & troubleshooting of Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
• 7)Knowledge of Maintenance system &MIS - MTTR, MTBF, PM, TBM , CBM ,IR , Lubrication Mgt., Kaizens / Poka-yoke / MP Sheets , Energy and water mgt. Spares Mgt
• 8) Exposure to manufacturing Execution system (MES).
